Gloves, horses, soy sauce

NEWS UPDATES!

1. Bought these shoes from Tony Bianco...real leather, RRP $160 but scooped for $64! Once I got the big white box in the post I pranced around in them for a good five minutes or so hehe..

2. FINALLY watched XMEN...vivid coin-slicing scene is still fresh in my mind. What an epic movie. Complete with slow mo and extreme closeups and everything too..

3. Currently have guests over. Was sitting in my uggs, trackies and old NSG hoodie (hasn't been washed for a few months) chowing down on dry cereal in a bowl like a horse (sif anyone could be bothered using hands..or eating utensils..) and watching some crappy arvo tv show when about six family friend people walked into the living room...

At which point I said a polite hello and made a slow and dignified exit (still holding my bowl of dry cereal). Dry cereal is incredibly addictive. Also they probably already know I'm weird like that so no major harm done lol.

 4. My mum unearthed these incredibly crazy lacy-type fishnet gloves while we were having an impromptu turfout of junk in our house today. Ok so the photos don't really do them justice but they are pretty crazy gloves! No idea where she got them/their history...reminds me of the time I found an axe with a leather cover in our cupboard. No kidding, I think it's still there too. :| Family secrets.. haha.

5. Sister has a new kitten called Dodger, which was revealed to be a she and not a he as previously thought when taken to the vet a few days ago lol. I took some (very dark) creeper photos of it napping:

And that's about it for now. I did also waste a lot of money on clothing.. and still have some loose ends (uni matters) to tie up sighh. Hols are the best when you have spontaneous outings :) especially with awesome people who also happen to be your friends.

OH YEAH I also got back from a ski trip blabla. Photos are everywhere, off the top of my head can recall:

- Meeting medsci and other kids which was quite nice
- Stacking it multiple times in the snow (i.e. violent and unplanned treehugging, watching someone hitting a SLOW DOWN sign, spectacularly doing a half somersault and getting snow in my hair)
- Chocolate oreos and terrible hot chocolate
- Soy-sauce tasting beer
- Ruining the beer for everyone else by commenting on its soy-sauce flavour
- Managing to coast down some slopes and feeling incredibly pro for a beginner haha.

Has been an unusually active holiday so far! Will probably be fated to spend the remaining week chowing down on cereal and being surprised by other people whilst wearing hobo trackies and hoodie however. Still, holidays have flown by :( .. best make the most of it!
